The 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 86A is a liquid primer designed to enhance the adhesion of polyurethane protective tapes and boots with acrylic adhesives. It is formulated for use on surfaces such as polyurethane paint, epoxy primers, and epoxy composites. This promoter accelerates the initial adhesion build rate, with a drying time of approximately 10 minutes.
