3M Bayonet Particulate Filters are NIOSH approved, providing protection against dusts, mists, and other particulates. They feature a bayonet-style connection compatible with any 3M Bayonet Reusable Respirator, offering low breathing resistance and good balance with a slim design. These flame-resistant filters are easy to install with a quarter-turn twist-to-lock mechanism. Compatible with 3M 6000 Series Half Facepieces, 6500/6500QL Series, 7500 Series, 6000 Series Full Facepieces, FF-400 Series, 7800 Series, and 3M Scott AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, helping to reduce inventory needs. The 7000 Series filters are encased in hard plastic for protection against damage, dirt, decontamination spray, debris, sparks, and high temperatures. 3M provides a free online tool (www.3M.com/sls) to help select appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters, and determine change-out schedules. NIOSH-approved, these filters are designed to filter oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants. They offer respiratory protection from particulate concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces. Some models include nuisance level organic vapor and/or acid gas relief. Not for use in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) environments or those with hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases (except hydrogen fluoride on certain models). Replace filters when dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through.
