Description

The 3M Products 58310 is a seam sealer designed for automotive applications. This two-part epoxy sealant is formulated with corrosion inhibitors for use on vertical or horizontal bare metal seams. Its heavy-bodied, non-sagging, non-flowing consistency allows for easy tooling and helps match OEM seam sealer appearances. The product is paintable in 15 minutes after an 8-minute worktime.

It provides a flexible seal that resists shrinking or cracking over a wide range of temperatures. The fast setup time can increase productivity by allowing technicians to proceed with repairs more quickly. The corrosion-inhibiting properties mean it can be applied without a primer coat, and its light color enhances visibility in low-light areas like trunk pans.
