Description

The 3M 81431 is a power sanding belt designed for tough portable belt sanding jobs. It features a durable cloth belt constructed with 3M Cubitron abrasive grain on a strong Y-weight cloth backing. The belt is resin bonded for heat resistance and utilizes a closed coat for a better finish.

This belt is made with a blend of 3M Ceramic abrasive grain and premium aluminum oxide minerals. It includes a film splice that allows for bi-directional running and a self-sharpening cubitron sol gel mineral that creates new cutting edges as it wears. This design leads to higher cut rates, longer life, and increased productivity with less heat and loading.
