The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 265 is a one-part, general-purpose, epoxy-based powder resin. It offers excellent electrical properties, thermal shock resistance, and enhanced adhesion due to its 100% solid insulation. This rapid-cure resin is manufactured by a fusion blend process, ensuring each particle contains all necessary components for a complete cure and desired performance.

The resin has a low melt viscosity and minimum build, making it ideal for various coating, bonding, and saturation applications. It is non-flammable, solvent-free, and requires no mixing or catalyzation. The odor-free resin can be applied via trickle, spray, or dip processes onto heated windings where it melts, flows, and cures.
