The 3M™ Disc Pad Hub is a threaded back-up pad designed for use with fiber discs and disc pad face plates. It holds the face plate firmly in position, supporting a fiber disc with a 7/8 inch center hole secured by a retainer nut. This hub allows operators to use face plates of various densities—Soft, Medium, Hard, and Extra-Hard—with a single power tool for multiple grinding applications.
