Overview

The 3M 747D is a Type 27 flat style flap disc designed for high-performance metal finishing. It features a durable blend of aluminum oxide and Cubitron ceramic mineral for enhanced cutting power and extended life on hard metal surfaces. This flap disc combines coarse disc cutting ability with finer disc blending capabilities in one unit. The 36-grit disc offers a finish closer to that of a finer grit disc due to the abrasive wearing to expose softer cloth backing.

This disc utilizes 3M's TN quick connect socket for easy attachment switching. It is a step up in speed and durability from aluminum zirconia flap discs.
