Description

The 3M Company 96808 is a 244D Series Type 83 flap wheel designed for general-purpose grinding, polishing, sanding, and finishing applications. It features an aluminum oxide mineral that cuts sharp and lasts long, providing fine finishes. The wheel has a rayon cloth backing that is durable and malleable to help minimize gouging and marring, while also resisting tearing and standing up to edges. This flap wheel has a 1-1/2 inch diameter, 60-grit, medium grade, and a maximum speed of 30,000 RPM. It attaches via a 1/4 inch shaft.
