Description

The 3M 80764 is a flap wheel designed for light grinding, blending, deburring, and polishing on a variety of metals. Its flaps are covered with a ceramic abrasive mix that enhances toughness and hardness. This wheel features an X-weight cotton backing for flexibility and durability.

The ceramic/aluminum oxide blend abrasive cuts fast and handles heat and stress, surpassing aluminum oxide in cut-rate and durability. The resin bond attaches the abrasive to the backing and resists thermal and chemical deterioration during high-speed sanding. A grinding aid is included for cooler running on stainless steel.
