The 3M sanding sponge is a dual-grit block designed for moderate sanding and smoothing of joint compounds. Its flexible design allows it to conform to both flat and contoured surfaces. The sponge features a medium grit for material removal and a fine grit for smoothing.

This block-shaped sponge is made from durable foam and is easy to hold. It can be used for wet or dry sanding and is suitable for surfaces such as wood, metal, and plastic. The aluminum oxide abrasive mineral will not discolor the sanding surface. It is recommended for use with 3M Personal Safety Products.
