Description

The 3M Fire Barrier Moldable Putty Pad is a one-part firestop material designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and noxious gases. This intumescent material comes ready to use in convenient 9.5 x 9.5 inch pads.

The putty pad is conformable by hand with no mixing or tools required. It provides a draft and cold smoke seal, helps reduce noise transfer, and offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of construction materials. It is non-corrosive to metal and compatible with synthetic cable jackets. The material is firestop tested up to 4 hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and ASTM E119 (UL 263).
