These sanders provide professional performance with maximized dust extraction. They are designed for high-production industrial environments where dust extraction is required. They feature a powerful, precision-balanced air-driven motor and durable lightweight aluminum housing to reduce fatigue. They can connect to a central vacuum system or an external portable vacuum. A threaded attachment allows for easy and secure attachment of a 1" external threaded vacuum hose (sold separately) to reduce dust. The design includes a recessed lever platform to eliminate pinch points, an extended curved wrist rest to reduce stress, and a rubber grip with 3M Gripping Material for increased operator control and vibration absorption. A durable composite cover extends to the base to decrease vibration and prevent cracked housings. An internal muffler protects operator hearing, and a convenient thumb-controlled speed dial prevents unintended speed changes. These tools are optimized for sanding and surface preparation on wood, metal, fiberglass, composite materials, and other substrates, producing a random scratch and swirl-free finish.
