Description

The 3M Fiberglass Matting Adhesive is a low viscosity, two-part urethane adhesive designed for use in auto body repair. It is ideal for saturating fiberglass cloth or mat when preparing backup patches for Sheet Molded Compound (SMC) and Fiber Reinforced Polyester (FRP) components, such as Fiberglass and Metton® panels.

This adhesive can also be used to fill cracks, channels, and areas where a standard adhesive bead application is restricted. It has a work time of 10 minutes, a sand time of 45 minutes, and a full cure time of 24 hours at 73°F (23°C).
