MIA's Description

The 3M Xtract Back-up Pad is a 5-inch hard, red pad designed for use with net discs and discs featuring a clean sanding hole pattern. The pad features a tapered edge for flexibility, ideal for feather-edging or blending painted areas.

This back-up pad utilizes 3M™ Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for secure disc mounting and easy reuse. It is compatible with orbital and random orbital sanders that have matching internal threads (1/4-20 for 3” sanders or 5/16-24 for 5” and 6” sanders). The medium-density foam offers some conformability for surface sanding.
