The J&L Oil Separator Co. 3065P is a 3oz capacity oil separator constructed from solid billet aluminum with a durable black anodized finish. The advanced filtration system includes a fine stainless steel mesh and a 1/2-inch thick aluminum honeycomb filter, which work together to condense oil vapors into liquid form that collects in the 3oz catch can. Installation is described as straightforward, requiring only standard hand tools and connecting between the PCV valve and intake. The unit comes with necessary hoses that utilize a push-lock system, eliminating the need for clamps. The catch can has a knurled base for easy removal and draining, with an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. This oil separator is specifically designed for 2009-2018 Dodge RAM 1500 models equipped with the 5.7L engine. It is important to note that this particular part number (3065P) is intended for the "classic" models, and a different part number (3067P) is available for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 and 2022-2024 Jeep Wagoneer. Additionally, this product is NOT CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or states that adopt California emission standards.
