Steeda's 3rd link chassis mount is engineered to enhance your Mustang's performance by allowing precise adjustments to pinion angle and anti-squat geometry, directly combating wheel hop during acceleration. This robust component replaces the weaker, stamped steel factory chassis mount with a substantial 1/4 inch thick steel construction, TIG welded for superior strength. The mount features four distinct adjustment positions, enabling you to dial in your car's handling for optimal weight transfer to the rear tires. This makes it particularly beneficial for drag racers seeking quicker launches and road racers aiming for improved corner-exit acceleration. The powdercoated finish not only adds a clean aesthetic but also provides corrosion resistance. Crucially, this chassis mount is not a standalone upgrade. It is exclusively compatible with Steeda's 555-4112, 555-4116, and 555-4113 Mustang control arms. It is not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket upper control arms. The unit accepts the factory 18mm chassis mount bolt, specifically found on 2011 and newer Mustang models.
