The Ford Racing M99263V is a high-performance 3V twin throttle body engineered for a direct fit on 2005-2010 Mustang GT models. This upgrade replaces the factory twin 55mm throttle body with larger twin 62mm bores, significantly increasing airflow to a rated 1306cfm, compared to the stock 953cfm. Precision machining from billet aluminum ensures consistency and durability, while the polished finish with a CNC'd Ford Racing logo adds a custom look. This throttle body is fully assembled and ready for bolt-on installation, complete with the throttle position sensor and actuator motor. It utilizes OE gears to prevent the gear bind and wear commonly found in other aftermarket throttle bodies. The electronic throttle control system, introduced on the Mustang in 2005, requires careful attention to detail, making this precisely calibrated unit critical for optimal performance. For enhanced performance, this throttle body works well with Ford Racing's hot rod camshafts, high-performance CNC ported 3V Cylinder Heads, and performance intake manifolds. Calibration is required after installation. All Ford Racing ETC throttle bodies are calibrated for idle air flow using the same procedure as production units, and have undergone extensive validation through hundreds of hours of dyno, racing, and street performance driving.
