Total Seal® AP Ultra-Thin piston ring packs feature 0.9mm, 0.9mm, 2.0mm ring sets. They include AP Advanced Profiling Steel top rings, ductile iron Napier 2nd Rings (in most sets where available) and standard tension oil rings. These rings offer maximum efficiency and significantly reduced friction for normally aspirated engines. They have a .125” radial depth for excellent bore conformability and a reduced stack height that permits the use of a piston with a very short compression height, allowing the use of longer connecting rods and/or increased strokes while keeping the wrist pin out of the oil ring groove.
