The FlowKooler High Flow pump 1747 is engineered to combat overheating issues common in Jeeps, particularly in stop-and-go traffic and off-road conditions. By reducing the cycle time between the heat source and the heat sink, this pump helps lower engine temperatures, making it ideal for slow-speed rock crawling and city driving. Constructed with an aluminum pump body and a CNC-machined billet aluminum impeller, this water pump boasts an increased vane count and a reduced impeller clearance, resulting in greater coolant flow rates and higher block pressure. For added protection against corrosive fluids, it features a Type II Class II military-grade anodize surface coating. Key specifications include a CCW rotation, a 2 5/16" stepped fan hub, a 5/8" shaft diameter, and a 1 3/4" inlet outside diameter. This high-flow water pump is compatible with AMC Eagle Premier (1988-1989, 2.5L), Jeep Cherokee XJ (1987-2001, 4.0L), Jeep Comanche (1987-1992, 4.0L), and Jeep Wagoneer (1987-1990, 4.0L) models.
