4.0T Downpipes (SS304 Stainless Steel)

The ARM Motorsports 4.0T Downpipes are performance exhaust components designed to reduce backpressure and improve turbo spool for Audi 4.0T engines. They replace the restrictive OEM catalysts with a smoother, less obstructed exhaust path. The downpipes are constructed from SS304 stainless steel for durability and feature an OEM-style 5-bolt flange for turbocharger compatibility.

These downpipes improve airflow by eliminating the crossover design of the stock pipes, shortening the exhaust gas travel path. This results in faster turbo spool, increased torque, and better throttle response. The construction includes a 4.4" x 3" collector, a stainless steel flex section for stress relief, and utilizes OEM transmission mounting brackets for secure installation. They transition to a 2.25" 3-bolt flange to mate with OEM or aftermarket midpipes.
