The MercRacing intercooler/charge cooler core is a replacement core for 4.0T Audi vehicles. It offers improved core durability over the OEM core, which is prone to failure when increasing boost. This core also features higher water flow rate with its large, full-size 3/4" hose connections for improved efficiency. Better airflow (CFM) than the OEM core, which is restrictive, is also a benefit.

The MercRacing Audi 4.0T V1 Intercooler/Charge Cooler Core is designed as a durable, high-performance replacement for the OEM core in 4.0T Audi vehicles. It addresses the OEM core's tendency to fail under increased boost pressures, offering significantly improved durability. This upgraded core enhances thermal efficiency through a higher water flow rate, facilitated by its large, full-size 3/4-inch hose connections. The improved IAT recovery during performance driving is further supported by an upgraded water pump, ensuring optimal engine operation. This core is a direct replacement designed to increase reliability for modified 4.0T Audi applications. It is compatible with various Audi models including the RS7 and S6, as indicated by its associated tags.
