4.0T Upgraded Turbo Inlet Pipes

The ECS Tuning Turbo Inlet Pipes and Luft-Technik Intake System is precision engineered to enhance the performance of Audi C7/C7.5 S6/S7 4.0T engines. Utilizing state-of-the-art laser scanning, dyno, and flow bench testing, this system combines factory-like fitment with increased engine performance, yielding up to +36 WHP and +48 WTQ with an APR stage 1 tune. The design features diameter-matched steps throughout the intake tract for a smooth airflow path, individual intake filters for each turbo, and a powder-coated aluminum heat shield with a bulb seal to combat heat soak. By reducing inlet pressure drop, this system allows the 4.0T turbos to operate more efficiently, resulting in a lower pressure ratio. Rigorous real-world testing has verified performance gains, including a 31.2% increase in flow rate over stock (478.3 CFM vs. 364.6 CFM at -9.0 in H2O). The cast aluminum turbo inlet pipes feature a 57mm ID at the compressor housing and a 63mm ID at the turbo inlet opening, maintaining the largest possible diameter through the flow path.
