4 1/4" ID Cold Air Intake Kit

The JLT Performance CAI2-12-FMC-0304 is a Next Generation High Boost Cold Air Intake system engineered for the 2003-2004 SVT Cobra models. This intake is designed to support high boost applications, capable of handling 20+ psi and supporting up to 800-900 RWHP. The intake tube is constructed from roto-molded plastic with a 4 1/4" ID, designed to resist engine heat and maintain a cool intake air charge, avoiding the use of metal tubing. It incorporates a new tube design with a relocated MAF sensor block. The system includes a massive 4.5x12" S&B Powerstack air filter, positioned within the fender well to ensure the coolest possible intake air charge. It utilizes the factory PCV hose connection and comes with a MAF gasket and screws for installing an SCT BA2600 or BA3000 MAF sensor, which is required for calibration. This setup ensures a smooth, unrestricted airflow to the throttle body. Custom tuning is required for proper operation. This kit will not work with stock Ford MAF sensors or SCT 2400/2800 MAF sensors due to different bolt patterns. Minor modifications may be necessary for optimal fitment due to variations in throttle body locations, especially with aftermarket K-members, non-stock motor mounts, or different blower setups. The air filter is situated low in the bumper for optimal air cooling, and users should be mindful of flooded streets and deep puddles. This product is NOT CARB Exempt and cannot be legally sold or used in California or any other states with similar emissions standards. It may also not fit with most strut tower braces or aftermarket K-members.
