4.10 Posi Traction Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly offers a rebuilt solution for Ford 10.5-inch differentials, featuring a 4.10 gear ratio and Posi Traction for enhanced performance. This axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to high standards of precision and reliability. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. As part of the remanufacturing process, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds for precise setup and longevity. Proper gear backlash is set to ensure adequate gear lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process, establishing a high standard for axle assembly remanufacturing. This specific assembly is designed for 2001-2004 Ford F350 models with Single Rear Wheels and is compatible with tag numbers V417B, V417C, V417D, V417F, and V433A.
