This assembly is rebuilt to stringent quality standards, emphasizing precision and reliability. Each axle assembly is meticulously inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components undergo a comprehensive inspection and testing, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure optimal performance and durability. The gear setup includes precise measurement of rolling torque using inch-pound increments and correct backlash settings for quiet operation and longevity. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs an exclusive cleaning process that includes hydro-blasting and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. This multi-step procedure ensures that housings meet OEM standards for straightness and are free from surface wear and cracks, restoring them to an OEM finish. This particular axle assembly is for applications without Posi Traction and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
