The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a meticulously remanufactured axle assembly built to exacting standards for precision and longevity. This unit features a 4.10 gear ratio, an AAM 11.5-inch ring gear, and a Posi Traction differential, ensuring robust performance. Each axle assembly is subjected to a comprehensive inspection process, verifying housing straightness, checking for cracks, and assessing surface wear. Internally, all components are thoroughly inspected and tested, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Crucially, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts to guarantee reliability. The remanufacturing process includes establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and extended lifespan. Housing are restored to an OEM finish via hydro-blasting and rinsing, and all tubes are inspected for straightness.
