The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1291C is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for 1992-1999 GM 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 9.25" IFS (Independent Front Suspension). This unit features a 4.11 gear ratio, making it suitable for applications requiring enhanced torque and acceleration. It is also configured for 8-lug wheels and includes provisions for a pin switch hole with two 2-way connectors. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure precision and reliability. This includes thorough inspection of the housing for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, gears, and clutches, are inspected and tested.
