The Eagle Specialty Products EAG444041506760 crankshaft is engineered for high-performance Mopar RB-Series and 426 Hemi applications. It boasts a robust 4.150-inch stroke and internal balance, ensuring smooth operation and enhanced power delivery. Constructed from certified forged 4340 steel, this crankshaft undergoes a multi-stage heat treatment process for exceptional strength and durability. The surface is nitrided to provide superior wear resistance, while the journals are micropolished to achieve a finish of 2 RA or better, promoting optimal lubrication. Optimized oiling passages ensure consistent journal lubrication, and the target bobweight is guaranteed within a +/- 2% tolerance for more predictable balancing. This crankshaft features a 2-piece seal design and a 6-bolt rear flange. It requires chamfered or narrowed bearings due to its .125-inch fillet radii, which enhance strength and rigidity. Eagle emphasizes their commitment to quality through rigorous testing, including X-ray, magnafluxing, and sonic testing, ensuring reliability for the most demanding applications.
