The K-Tuned 4-2-1 Budget Header is an exhaust system component constructed from 409 steel with 3/8" thick, double-welded, and ported flanges. The header features a strong, interlocking flex-pipe with a 2.5" inside diameter that absorbs engine movement.

This header is designed to deliver excellent fitment and significant power gains on stock or mildly built K20 and K24 engines. Construction focuses on optimizing exhaust flow. The primary piping is slightly upsized, and transitions are refined, including an expanded secondary pipe at the joint to eliminate restrictions. The secondary pipes merge more effectively at the collector, and the header features extra-thick piping for enhanced strength and weld integrity, ensuring longevity even with firmly mounted K-swap engines. The 3/8" thick flanges are double-welded and ported for maximum flow. Included is a strong, interlocking flex-pipe with a 2.5" ID, capable of handling high heat while absorbing engine movement. The 3-bolt exit flange facilitates installation with minimal modification to existing exhaust piping, though some welding will be required. This header is compatible with K20 and K24 engines in EG, DC2, EK (with Hasport EKK1 and EKK2 mounts), DC5, and EP3 chassis. It is intended for street cars where function is prioritized over aesthetics, and the raw steel finish can be coated or painted for rust resistance.
