The Eagle Specialty Products 4.250" Stroke Crankshaft is a forged 4340 steel component designed for Pontiac 455 engines. It features internal balancing with a target bobweight of 2280g and 2.2" rod journals. This crankshaft is intended for demanding applications and is not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.

The Eagle Specialty Products CRS-445542506700 crankshaft is a high-strength, forged 4340 steel component engineered for Pontiac 455 engines. With a 4.250" stroke and 2.200" rod journals, this internally balanced crankshaft is designed to withstand the rigors of racing applications. It features a non-twist forging and .125" fillet radiuses for enhanced strength, requiring chamfered or narrowed bearings. The surface is nitrided and micropolished to under 2 RA for superior durability. Key specifications include 3.25" main journals, a minimum rod length of 6.700", and a typical weight of 73 lbs. The rear seal diameter is 'call' for details, while the snout diameter is 1.373", with 6 flywheel bolts, a 1.383" pilot bore diameter, and a 2.75" flywheel register diameter. The advertised target bobweight is 2280g. Important note: This crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific rods and pistons.
