MIA's Description

The Clevite 303-0261 is a set of piston rings designed for high-performance racing engines. These rings are constructed from SAE 9254 high alloy steel and feature a High Velocity Oxygen Fueled (HV385) thermal spray coating. This coating improves ring face wear by over 50% without increasing cylinder bore wear.

The rings have a standard tension and a 3/16" edge width, with a bore diameter of 4.3500" and a radial thickness of .201". The HV385 coating utilizes a patented blend of hard, self-lubricating metal and ceramic alloys, offering strength and toughness comparable to heat treatments while remaining scuff-resistant to the cylinder wall.
