Overview

The Chevrolet Blazer S10 remanufactured engine is designed for 1988 models with the 6-262 (4.3L) VIN Z engine and 4x2 drivetrain. This engine has undergone a remanufacturing process to meet or exceed OEM standards.

It includes a full gasket set, new oil pump, new valves, springs, seals, rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters. The cylinder heads are also included with all required machining.

The Chevrolet Blazer S10 remanufactured engine is engineered for 1988 models, specifically those equipped with the 6-262 (4.3L) engine, VIN Z (8th digit), and a 4x2 drivetrain. The "long block" remanufactured engine includes the block casting, crankshaft, connecting rods, new rod bearings, pistons, rings, camshaft, and timing chain. Additionally, it comes with reconditioned cylinder heads featuring new valves, keepers, springs, seals, and new rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters. A full gasket set and a new oil pump are also provided for a complete installation. Reman Engine offers a "No Fault" warranty. For vehicles from 2000 and older, this includes 3 years of unlimited mileage coverage with a $50 per hour Mitchell labor reimbursement rate on approved claims after factory inspection. The warranty is transferable with vehicle ownership and provides nationwide coverage. Core return shipping is free, though the customer is responsible for initiating the pickup within 30 days of delivery to avoid upfront core charges. A "Waive Core Charge" option is available, allowing the new engine to be installed before returning the old one, with the core charge being billed if not returned within 30 days. Failure to return or pay for the core will void the engine's warranty.
