The COMP Cams 56-430-8 is a Magnum series hydraulic roller camshaft engineered for Chevrolet 4.3L (262 c.i.) V6 engines, specifically those equipped with a balance shaft. This camshaft offers a 224-degree duration on both intake and exhaust cycles, with an operating range from 2000 to 5500 RPM. It is designed to provide enhanced performance for the 4.3L V6 platform. This camshaft is compatible with GM 4.3L/262 cid V6 engines from 1985-2014. Specific fitment includes '92-'14 GM 4.3L/262 cid applications. It is noted that this camshaft can provide limited high performance with a rough idle. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use this camshaft with an aftermarket intake, headers, and a 2500+ stall torque converter.
