It is compatible with the 2004-2005 BMW 545i, the 2011-2015 BMW 550i, the 2006-2010 BMW 550i, the 2010-2015 BMW 550i GT and GT xDrive, and the 2011-2015 BMW 550i xDrive. The set is designed for engines with 4.4L V8, 4.8L V8 configurations.

This set is designed as a direct replacement for OEM part number 12-13-8-616-153. This ignition coil set is compatible with the following BMW models and engine configurations: 2004-2005 545i (4.4L V8), 2011-2015 550i (4.4L V8), 2006-2010 550i (4.8L V8), 2010-2015 550i GT & 550i GT xDrive (4.4L V8), and 2011-2015 550i xDrive (4.4L V8). Important considerations for installation and performance include that all IP Coils are made to order and require 3-5 business days for assembly after order confirmation. Furthermore, a professional ECU tune is required to fully realize the performance benefits of these coils. The manufacturer also specifies dwell time settings, though detailed parameters are not provided here.
