The Spelab 4''/5'' DPF Delete Race Pipe is engineered for the 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks, including crew cab short and long bed configurations, as well as Cab & Chassis models. Constructed from 2mm thick T-409 stainless steel, this magnetic material offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability. This increased flow can lead to significant improvements in fuel mileage, with users potentially seeing a jump from an average of 13-14 mpg to 18-19 mpg after installation and proper tuning. Removing the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and catalytic converter also eliminates the need for regular DPF maintenance and the risk of expensive DPF failures. Installation is estimated to take about 1 hour with basic hand tools. Clamps, hangers, and hardware are included, though some factory hardware may need to be reused. It is important to note that a DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent check engine lights and diagnostic trouble codes, as emission-related sensors are removed.
