4"-5" Front / 6"-7" Rear Lowering Kit

The IHC Suspension 2009-2018 RAM 1500 2WD Lowering Kit is engineered to provide a significant stance change, lowering the front by 4"-5" and the rear by 6"-7". This kit prioritizes ride quality by utilizing custom lower control arms that retain the stock springs, shocks, and spindles. Included upper control arms allow for camber correction to bring the vehicle back into alignment specifications. The rear suspension is lowered using progressive springs, which are designed to be trimmed to achieve the desired 5", 6", or 7" drop without compromising ride quality. To correct suspension angles after lowering, the kit includes a dropdown trac bar bracket and shorter sway bar links. A key feature is the 4-link relocation brackets, which re-center the rear end and correct pinion angle, thereby eliminating high-speed wobble and swaying. For achieving the full 6" or 7" rear drop, the "Cut Kit" is required. This involves cutting off the OEM upper trailing arm bracket to allow for increased travel from the frame to the axle, preventing bottoming out. Installation is estimated to take 10 hours, excluding alignment, and is recommended to be performed by a certified mechanic.
