4.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS814FS lift kit enhances the performance and capability of 2007-2015 Toyota Tundra 4WD trucks, offering a 4.5-inch increase in ride height and clearance for up to 35-inch tires. This kit utilizes a high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while also correcting suspension and steering geometry for optimal on-road handling. Up front, the kit features lower strut extensions, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that utilize replacement tie rod ends, ensuring compatibility with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, and brake line brackets are also included for a comprehensive front suspension lift. In the rear, the kit incorporates heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks and brake line brackets, along with longer U-bolts. Buyers can choose between specially tuned NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks for improved damping performance. Installation difficulty is rated as moderate, with an estimated time of 8 hours and requiring tools such as a saw, reciprocating compressor, and welder. Frame bracket modification and welding are required for installation. Stock 18-inch wheels cannot be installed, and factory 20-inch wheels with more than 6.25 inches of backspacing are also incompatible. Models with a two-piece rear driveshaft will require modification, and models equipped with 6-piston calipers require modification. The kit is compatible with Bilstein (yellow) factory front struts on 2014-2015 models. When installed on 2WD models, the differential brackets will not be used.
