The Powerhouse Racing 4.5" Intercooler is engineered to keep charge temperatures in check for vehicles operating deep in the horsepower spectrum. Its massive 4.5-inch core, measuring 24" x 12" x 4.5", is combined with a high fin density design to maximize heat dissipation and cooling efficiency, thereby reducing intake air temperatures. This allows for more aggressive tuning and sustained higher power output, especially beneficial under high-boost conditions. Constructed from aluminum with a 3/16-inch thick end tank and thick mounting tabs, this intercooler is built for durability and strength. It features TIG-welded joints for superior integrity and is rated to support up to 1000 horsepower. The 3-inch inlet and outlet are designed for optimal airflow, minimizing pressure drop and maximizing air delivery to the engine for improved throttle response and overall performance. This intercooler is meticulously handcrafted in the USA and is available in various finishes, including raw aluminum, multiple black powder coat options, or polished end tanks, to match specific build aesthetics. Customization options for different inlet and outlet sizes are also available. This Powerhouse Racing intercooler is specifically designed for the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra models.
