The Rough Country 4.5" Suspension Lift Kit is engineered to elevate your 1999-2006 2WD Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500, providing an aggressive stance and enhanced off-road capability. This comprehensive kit offers 4.5 inches of lift through the use of specially designed front lifted coil springs and rear lift blocks, which not only increase ground clearance but also eliminate the factory "rake" for a level, commanding appearance. The kit is designed to accommodate tires up to 33 inches in diameter, giving your truck a bold, trail-ready look. This lift kit features Rough Country's N3 shock absorbers, which are nitrogen-charged and utilize 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. These shocks are tuned to maintain a smooth, stock-like ride quality on pavement while delivering responsive performance when venturing off-road. For those seeking further customization and enhanced performance, upgrade options to V2 Monotube or M1 Monotube shocks are available. The installation process is designed to be straightforward, with a 100% bolt-on application that requires no cutting or drilling, making it ideal for DIY enthusiasts. Minor trimming of the fender shroud may be necessary for certain tire sizes. This kit is specifically designed for 2WD GM 1500 models from 1999-2006, including the 2007 Classic variants. It is important to note that this kit ONLY fits models with 6-lug wheels and does NOT fit 2004-2006 models equipped with torsion bar front suspension.
