The CTS Turbo 4.5″ Race Downpipe is a catless exhaust component designed to maximize exhaust flow for increased power gains on BMW B58 engines. It is constructed from T304 stainless steel with hand TIG welded and back-purged construction for reliable performance. The downpipe features a 4.5″ diameter, reducing to 3.15″ or 80mm, for seamless fitment with factory or aftermarket exhaust systems.

The CTS Turbo 4.5″ Race Downpipe is engineered to replace the restrictive factory downpipe on BMW B58-powered vehicles, maximizing exhaust flow for significant power gains. This component is crafted from premium T304 stainless steel and features hand TIG welding with back-purging to ensure durability and long-lasting performance. The design utilizes the latest CAD technology for a precise fitment, integrating seamlessly with factory or aftermarket exhaust systems. The 4.5″ diameter pipe reduces to 3.15″ (80mm), optimizing exhaust velocity and sound. This downpipe is noted for providing an incredible sporty exhaust sound that remains subtle during cruising and exhibits no drone when paired with the factory exhaust. This product is explicitly sold for competition use and is not legal for highway or street vehicles. Installation requires Stage 2 software to prevent a check engine light. Additionally, a new downpipe gasket (factory BMW part number 18328612538) is recommended for installation and is not included. This downpipe is only compatible with vehicles without a GPF/OPF. The CTS Turbo 4.5″ Race Downpipe is compatible with a wide range of BMW models equipped with the B58 engine, including the 2016+ F20 M140i, 2016+ F22 M240i & M240i xDrive, 2016+ F30/F31/G20 340i & 340i xDrive, 2016+ F32/F33/F36/G22/G23/G26 440i & 440i xDrive, 2016+ G30/G31 540i & 540i xDrive, 2016+ G11/G12 740i & 740i xDrive, 2018+ G01 X3 M40i xDrive, 2018+ G01 X4 M40i xDrive, and 2019+ G01 X5 40i xDrive.
