Description

The Yukon Dropout Assembly is a complete, fully assembled third member designed as a performance upgrade for Ford 9” differentials. This unit comes pre-shimmed and backlashed to specification, ready for installation by bolting onto the differential housing. It features a 4.56 gear ratio and 31 spline count, paired with an upgraded Trac-Lok clutch-type limited slip differential to enhance torque bias and traction. The assembly utilizes a nodular iron case, which increases rigidity and improves power handling capabilities. This design minimizes deflection, ensuring consistent gear contact and contributing to a longer service life. Please note that this dropout assembly does not include a yoke. Yukon Gear and Axle backs this dropout assembly with a 1-year limited warranty, and they also offer an optional Extended Service (YES) Plan for comprehensive coverage against failures for the life of the vehicle, with certain restrictions applying.
