The Canton Racing Products 15-790 oil pan is a 7-quart capacity (including filter), wet sump, front sump, baffled oil pan. It is specifically designed for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L Modular 4-valve engines. The internal baffling system with trap doors is engineered to control oil movement during aggressive driving, such as road racing, preventing oil starvation. It features a wide, low-profile sump for maximum oil capacity and ground clearance. This pan is primarily intended for engine swap applications where a front sump configuration is required, particularly when installing 4.6L/5.4L modular engines into earlier Ford chassis. The baffle is removable, and it includes provisions for a pan-mounted dipstick (though the dipstick itself is not included). It has kicked-out sides on both driver and passenger sides.
