The IHC Suspension 1988-1998 C1500 4/6 lowering kit is designed to provide a significant drop while enhancing your truck's stance and functionality. This comprehensive kit includes 3-inch lowering control arms (upper and lower) and 2-inch drop springs with 1-inch isolators for the front, designed to work with factory or replacement front shocks. The rear of the kit features a flip kit, drop shocks, shock extenders, and a bolt-on under-bed C-notch for a clean installation. Constructed with quality and durability in mind, all IHC suspension parts are manufactured in the USA using fiber laser cut, CNC bent, and robotically welded steel for precise quality and strength. The bolt-on C-notch is fabricated from 1/4-inch metal plate and utilizes Grade 8 hardware. This kit offers a lifetime warranty on all metal parts, underscoring the manufacturer's confidence in its build. Installation is estimated to take approximately 9 hours and is recommended to be performed by a certified mechanic. Please read all instructions thoroughly before beginning. IHC Suspension is not responsible for damage or failure resulting from improper installation. Crucially, this kit is designed exclusively for 2WD coil spring vehicles. It does NOT fit 4WD models, long bed models, or 454 SS models. Ensure your vehicle meets these specifications before purchase.
