The Ford Performance 4.6L 3-valve Camshaft Bolt Kit is an essential component for maintaining the reliability and performance of your engine. Engineered with a torque-to-yield design, these bolts offer precision and durability for your camshaft. The installation process requires adherence to specific torque values. The recommended procedure involves a two-stage tightening process: first, tighten the bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) in Stage 1. Subsequently, apply an additional 90 degrees of torque in Stage 2 to ensure the camshaft is securely fastened. Each kit includes two (2) bolts required for the installation. These camshaft bolts are designed to fit 2005-2010 4.6L 3-valve engines, commonly found in Mustang GT and Bullitt models. They are a crucial part of the engine's valvetrain system, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
