This specific kit includes a 4.88 ratio ring and pinion gear set with a 11.25-inch ring gear diameter. It is engineered for applications with a 10-bolt rear cover and a 12-bolt ring gear, and it fits carrier cases designed for 4.10 and up gear ratios. While the kit includes many components such as carrier bearings and races, carrier shims, cover gasket or silicone, crush sleeve or preload shims, head bearing, instruction manual, pinion nut, pinion seal, pinion shims, and ring gear bolts, it does not include axle bearings or axle seals.
