Description

The Yukon Gear & Install Kit (YGK004) from Zumbrota Drivetrain is a comprehensive package for upgrading the differentials on specific Jeep models. This kit is engineered for Jeep XJ and YJ vehicles that feature a reverse rotation Dana Spicer 30 front axle and a Chrysler 8.25" rear axle. The kit provides a 4.88 gear ratio, which is suitable for larger tire applications, and includes both front and rear ring and pinion sets. In addition to the gears, this package comes with master overhaul kits for both the front and rear differentials. These kits contain all the necessary bearings, seals, and installation hardware to ensure a proper and durable installation. Technical Note: If your vehicle is currently equipped with a 3.54 gear ratio, a new front carrier will be required in addition to this kit. It is recommended to consult with a Zumbrota sales representative or tech support if you have questions about fitment or installation requirements.
