4 BAR MAP Sensor

The Bosch 4 BAR MAP Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor, identified by part numbers 0 281 006 059 and 0 281 006 060, is a critical component for monitoring and managing engine performance. This 'Thrust Sensor' accurately measures air pressure within the boost pipes and simultaneously records air temperature. Its primary application is in the tuning of VAG Group Engines, where its higher 4 BAR reading enables the safe utilization of increased boost pressures, surpassing the capabilities of standard 2.5 or 3 BAR sensors. This genuine Bosch sensor features a 12mm small probe, making it suitable for installation in 12mm MAP sensor holes. For applications requiring an 18mm MAP sensor hole, a separate reducer bung is available. The sensor replaces various Bosch part numbers including 0 281 006 059 and 0 281 006 060, as well as VAG part numbers such as 03K906051 and 03K906051A.
