Description

The Hondata 4-bar MAP sensor offers a direct, plug-and-play upgrade for boosted Honda engines, replacing the factory MAP sensor that is limited to approximately 10-11 psi of boost. This 4-bar sensor accurately reads boost pressures up to 43 psi, making it essential for proper tuning of higher-boost applications. It is a direct replacement for numerous Honda engine series, including D, B, F, H, K, and R-series. This sensor requires a programmable ECU, such as a Hondata S300, Hondata FlashPro, or another compatible engine management system, to correctly interpret the new pressure-to-voltage scaling. Specific settings within the ECU software (e.g., HONDATA/OMNIPOWER 4 BAR in SManager) are necessary for accurate readings. Compatibility includes a wide range of Honda models such as the '92-'00 Civic, '92-'97 Delsol, '92-'01 Integra, '92-'03 Accord (4-cyl), '92-'01 Prelude, '00-'05 S2000, '02-'05 Civic Si, '02-'06 RSX, '04-'08 TSX, and '07-'08 Fit, provided they utilize a throttle body-mounted MAP sensor.
