The Hondata 4 Bar MAP Sensor is designed as a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the factory MAP sensor in Honda K-series engines. This sensor upgrades your system's capability to measure manifold absolute pressure up to 58 psi (400 kPa), significantly exceeding the limits of the stock sensor which typically tops out around 11 psi. For vehicles equipped with turbochargers or superchargers, particularly those planning to exceed approximately 11 psi of boost, this sensor is essential for accurate engine management. It provides the ECU with reliable pressure readings across all boost levels, which is critical for calculating precise airflow, fueling, and load.
