Description

The Omni Power 4-bar MAP sensor utilizes advanced bipolar op amp circuitry and thin film resistor networks to provide accurate pressure readings for turbocharged or supercharged engines. By employing a specially designed silicon pressure sensor that compensates for temperature, the unit remains at least 99% accurate within an operating range of -40 to 260° Fahrenheit. Its true linear 0-5 volt output eliminates the need for recalibration when driving at different altitudes, preventing common issues like idle instability or poor drivability. It is capable of measuring boost pressures from 1 to 43+ psi with an industry-leading response time of .001 seconds. Each unit is hand-assembled and pressure-tested in the USA to ensure structural integrity, with the casing designed to withstand internal pressures exceeding 130 psi.
